Members of the Xbox Live Gold can start enjoying some neat deals for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 at discounted rates, just for the week.
Posting again on his blog site, Xbox Live director Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb revealed the latest deals, comprised of a mix of old and recently-released titles. Xbox One owners can enjoy a lineup of sporting games led by “NBA Live 18: The One Edition” for $30. Also on sale is “Madden 18” for $40.19 and some “NBA 2K18” virtual currency bundles.
For hockey lovers, the three editions of “NHL 18,” namely, the standard version, the Deluxe edition, and Super Deluxe edition, go on sale for $40.19, $53.59, and $60.29, respectively.
Meanwhile, other titles that are considered notable deals, according to a Gamespot report, include “Ghost Recon: Wildlands” for $30, “XCOM 2” for $24, and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Complete Edition for $20. In addition, Xbox One owners including non-Xbox Live Gold members can go for “Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition” for $4.50 and “Fallout 4” for $20.09.
For Xbox 360 owners, the interesting deals include “Red Dead Redemption” for $9.89 and “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition” for $3. Moreover, “Grand Theft Auto IV” and “Bully” Scholarship Edition are also on sale at $8 and $7.49, respectively.
Nelson notes that the deals will expire come Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. ET.
In other Xbox news, Gamespot reported that Xbox head Phil Spencer said during the Brasil Game Show last week that the upcoming Xbox One X may not be for everyone. He explained that the console that is tagged as “the most powerful ever” will cater to a select type of gamers who are after “the very best experience.”
“Whether you’re on a 1080p TV or a 4K TV, you’re going to have a great experience. But it’s not for everybody,” said Spencer. “I’ve played games in true 4K with HDR, and they look fantastic. But it doesn’t mean everybody has to do that. So we’re giving gamers a choice,” he added.
