Hulu wants Hitman to become a flagship TV series.

Hulu is developing a Hitman TV series with John Wick creator Derek Kolstad.

Deadline reports Hulu has teamed with Fox 21 and Kolstad to develop a show that will be based on IO Interactive’s Hitman video game series. Kolstad, who wrote the screenplay for the first and upcoming third John Wick movies, will write the pilot script for the series.

Additionally, Kolstad will executive produce alongside Adrian Askarieh and Chuck Gordon, with the series being overseen by Fox 21’s Bert Salke, Jane Francis, Gloria Fan, and Kira Innes and Hulu’s Jordan Helman.

Hulu and Fox 21 reportedly want Hitman to become a flagship TV series, and the plan is to adhere closely to the video game source material.
